If the trainer's truck is sitting empty 10 minutes across town, then my guess is that he'll still be getting paid...

Naw my trainer stays in south bend indiana.. i would just stay but ive already done that for three days while he was home for his and his wifes birthday and id rather go home for those days myself bregardless if im getting paid or not.. We discussed this before and he said he would just pay me the six hundred out of pocket even with ke going home for that week while he goes home.. Plus it would wrk out for me because his son stays in the city i stay in and he's stopping thru there before he goes home for that wk..

My trainer is a l/o and looking at how he operates his business it lks doable but i personally will wait to tackle that beast since i'm fresh meat to the industry, although my trainer insist i can do it sue to me basically running his operation while he sleeps 13 to 15 hrs aday everyday..not even sure how he mwkes money from loads other then going 55 mph and short filling up with just enough gas to get to the destinations.

As much as i've been driving I dont think that will be a issue.Just have to adjust to beingon my own and all, making the decisions etc. But the rate i'm doing things during the tnt i feel like i'm solo now..

Just be cautious in bad weather, on packed snow, icy conditions - don't be using your jake or cruise control in conditions that could lead to a skid/jacknife. Leave piles of room between you and the next vehicle - and if you feel it's beyond you, shutdown and let dispatch know about it. You'll be ok.

My point was that if the student had family 10 minutes from the parked truck, they'd be spending most of their time with family, and checking in on the Qualcomm at the required times.

Either your status is "on the truck," or "at home." It doesn't have anything to do with the student "checking in" unless his supervisor (instructor or trainer) is lying about things. That's not worth the possibility of being terminated for something like that.
