Just remember this, bro. You are now in a profession that requires regular visits to approved medical professionals to get a medical exam that you must pass. Miss one and your career is kaput. It's just like life in the fine world of aviation, that has been "home" for me for more than 40 years. Do not mess with your health or those pains you have. You USED to "tough it out"and it was fine back then, but doing so now puts a great deal at risk.

    It ain't worth it.

This is the last I'm going to say on the subject: Self-diagnosing is a horrible way to manage your own health. I was a paramedic for years and know these things. Nuff said. :)

That's good to hear. I know what u mean about people telling you to do something before u have a chance, most of the time I just suck it up and say ok (part of being in the military). My only concern is also getting home during training. My little girls birthday is 3 months after I start training. I shouldn't have a problem getting home but this is trucking and anything can happen. Just trying to prepare myself. Plus I don't think there are much prime drivers that live in this area.

Ict that is plenty of time for you to get home, starting out I didn't get home until a month and a half later from when I started. Things came up at home and I really needed to get there, I was waiting 2weeks after I asked to get home and told that I would but somehow we kept getting loads far off from where I lived, I just sucked it up and waited versus spending money to get home... I'm back on the truck now. I don't own a car and my trainer knows that, so to save on gas waited on me at a truck stop on the opposition side of town and I had an hr notice to get there and that was difficult finding a ride... It's little things like that that drives me a bit crazy... The telling me how to drive was makin me paranoid and nervously so I let her kno that I don't mind helping me out, but it really effected my driving.

Yes I am married, no kids tho. Female may train a male but males may not train females from my knowledge. It's ### backwards to me but I don't make the biased rules.
