Does Prime not hire/train people with sleep apnea? Cant sleep apnea be effectively controlled with modern portable devices?

They do also they offer for people that need it the tests at there clinic. If you need the machine after the tests they are willing to let you basically rent it. If you where at home didn't have insurance the test alone could cost you in the thousands.

Thanks. I just did an "at home" sleep study that the VA sent to my home. Im sending the testing unit back in today to be diagnosed. If I have apnea, the VA will provide everything I need to control it, free of charge. Im thinking that I probably have apnea, and Im really looking at Prime for my CDL training and long term employment if they will have me.

Its your machine - all they do is give you a very reasonable payment plan.

If you take the test and it turns out negative its $130. Most places you do indeed pay thousands for that negative test. The cost for a positive test includes the sleep test, CPAP machine (one that can be used in a truck and provides for monitoring use,) follow-up care, and ESPECIALLY... additional supplies. There are things that have to be replaced regularily to avoid having it turn into a bacteria-infested swamp.

See but I never took that test... I am Skiiny as a fence post. I personably believe that they shouldn't just limit it to mid-large body frame people. But i am just one person. Every one should have too prescreen for it but... We know how that goes..

My medical plan paid $1,800 for the sleep study test and if I remember correctly, $1,100 for the CPAP. I wish I owned a sleep study clinic $$$.
