Starting Prime September 25

Hi all, been looking closely at Prime to apply for CDL training. Did y'all fill-out the application online? How long does it take for a recruiter to get back in touch with you after that? And then, do they fully check your background and everything before accepting you into the program? Is there a phone interview?

A lot of questions, but long trip to Springfield from here. I'm trying to choose wisely and no surprises. Thanks if you have time to answer.

 

I filled mine out on a Tuesday and gave the recruiter line a call on Friday. The recruiter found my app, answered a bunch of questions, and told me to call back if I hadn't heard back that coming Tuesday (one week after applying). I got the call Saturday.

So, it can take up to a week. I'm sure you have questions, so go ahead and call 1-877-PRIME-JOB. They can check your app status.

 

Walmart is a 5 minute walk from campus. Pack light but bring a bank card in case you need something. You can use the internet at the Ramada Oasis in their business center for free, just tell them you are at the Prime Campus. Go online for some hazmat practice tests. It can be noisy , get ear plugs it that helps.
