Starting problems!!!

I have a problem when i cold start my 05 columbia. It shakes, lights go crazy and a passing driver said he saw sparks under the truck. After that is doesn't do that until next cold start. ECM volts goes up and down. Battery's are new. Thank you!!!

Sparks under your truck?
I would look for a loose cable arcing.
Have someone else watch your truck when you start it, to verify sparks.

check connections to starter are tight and not loose. replace both ground cable chassis to starter and chassis to batteries this should take care of your problem
