Keep in mind that the insurance companies keep a "neck hold" on trucking companies when it comes down to who they can hire. A lot of companies would love to give you a second chance, but their hands are tied. Insurance companies work off of statistics.......not peoples character.

Did you try western express? They are like a testing company to see how hirable you are. If they wont prehire you almost nobody will.

I was trying to not have to resort to that based on information I have read here.

Well, all is not completely lost. I spoke with a recruiter at Western Express. She said they will hire me with the 2 speeding violations. At least I have a start to my career somewhere.

Also, Systems Transport is considering me. They didn't immediately turn me down as several others have. We will see....

    Thank You guys!!!

Dont listen to those people i know several folks who began a very rewarding career through western express. You will need thick skin and a strong spirit though. Builds character, trust me. I have been with a company actually worst than western express if you can imagine that. Im pushing 9 months and almost ready to move on to greener pastures. Already have companies hitting me up like crazy.

Thank You G.U.N.! I appreciate that!
The rest of my record is spotless. I have only had 2 employers in 15 years. I have no criminal background and no accidents, revocations, suspensions, etc.

Does the recruiter know much over the speed limit you were doing?

That's right. Tell them everything, because you are wasting everyone's time in the end if you don't. Speaking from experience here.

Yes, I told her the exact information from my MVR. I would not waste anyone's time by lying or evading the truth!
