Speaking of the yellow lights, does turning on your beacons put all kinds of noise in your CB?

Ummmm, no, but using my windshield washer does.

Interesting. No biggie, I haven't NEEDED to use the beacons yet, just noticed it while playing with the switches when I got my truck. It probably won't be around much longer, anyway. I hear they like to get rid of them around 500k miles, so maybe they'll upgrade me to a red Freightliner (even though I'd rather stay in this one). A truck with a jake would be nice, too.

I haven't needed them either, but I like to see them flashing off of shiny things. Plus I think it makes me look cool to use them while backing up, in addition to my flashers of coarse. :biggrin_255:

I have no complaints, but there are a wide variety of experiences on here. They have kept their promises to me, and I am very happy here. The only reason I would consider leaving is for a local job.

I have pretty much the same to say. Excellent school, and they've kept their promises to me. Your dispatcher can make it or break it for you, and I've been very lucky so far to have good ones. The only reason I'd go to another company is because of their rider policy--I can't have any, since I'm not married and have no kids. Sure, there's days where I get a little upset, but overall they treat me pretty well.

I've been seeing a few things on here about Crete that indicates they've been going downhill, but perhaps it's just a few drivers that had a bad experience. I guess you could find the same thing about Roehl, but I didn't see too much bad about Crete on here until recently. Personally, I take quite a bit of pride in who I drive for, and try helping out Roehl's already excellent safety record. It's nice seeing those stripes in the convex mirrors. :)
