Yea, I have been driving a box truck for a local company, no cdl required.

Driving about 1500-1800 miles a week, hourly pay, one over night trip a week.

I figured up my mileage by the mile and came up with .19 a mile. So I decided too go ahead and apply.

I applied last year about this time and they said they couldn't get me a flatbed trainer till august ,so I decided to wait.

I've got to get some more paper work to Rennells this week and see what happens.

If you were driving a box truck commercially, a CDL is required, even if it's the class C "chauffeur's" license.

never scales over 26,000. I have been inspected 3x, once by NC DOT, and twice by KY DOT and nothing was ever said.

So you you're probably right, but, the DOT has never said anything and I only have a CDL permit.

Well, finished my physical Monday with no hitch. Received a call from Carrie yesterday she gave me the direction for the old dutch. One more week and I will be on my way to WI. Just received the news that the last piece of paper that I was waiting for is in the mail as of today. So, looks like all is a go for me with roehl. I hope to see some of you out there once I get done. Anybody else going to RDTC on the 23?

I agree, Steve was very good. I try to stop in and say hey whenever I get through Marshfield (looks like I'll be running through Friday or so). If any of you were in class last week, perhaps you saw me pull my truck over there and talk to Steve. Young guy, hair shaved short...that's me.

Good luck kebo! When are you going to school? I start on the 23rd next Monday. Plan on leaving Virginia on Saturday morning.
