Starting soon with Millis...

Good Luck to you Old School....I am wanting to get started to, cant wait counting down the days! I got excepted in Oct. but I couldnt make the last class so put it off until now (Jan. 16th) Got my CDL permit last week and going for my physical this morning...I have one that is only a year old , but have to get it renewed since they want one 6 months or newer.

 

Started class last monday the 16th at Richfield...

First day...Lots of paper work like everyone else has said.
Second day...More paper work and videos.
Third day... Finally got to bob tail around the yard, and got to go
out on the highway for 15 min. each. It was very intense for the first time driving a semi! But actually went well.
Fourth day...Was very COLD out, so we did alot of text book work. I have been doing surprisingly well on the quizes!!
Fifth day...Went out and learned how to couple and uncouple trailers. Did some straight line backing, and a little bob tailing around the yard. Having a little problem with my down sh
ifting. Hoping it will come to me in time.
Oh by the way Chris our instructor is a great guy and very informitive!
There are five guys total in our class.
Home now for the weekend will be heading back later today.

Slim Shady...there are 5 of us in my class, 4 of us stay at the hotel and the other guy drives back and forth everyday.

 

Sorry, didnt mean to miss lead you, it was very cold out, but we still went out for a little while but mostly did book work.
So far I have to say...Millis school is a class A act!!
