yeah they moved us back over to Premier, on the first Saturday i was there would have been 6-1-13. I definetly prefer Premier even if there is no free wi-fi, never worked at Legacy for me LOL
-
legacy was a crap hole, I know they were in discussions about changing the place while I was there. If I was Swift I would build a hotel and also rent extra rooms out to drivers at discount prices, Swift doesnt like to invest in long term I dont seem to think.

Just arrived in Phoenix an hour ago. Wish me luck!

LOL We probably passed by each other in the hall or around the classroom area, I'm there right now for orientation. had to redo my dot examine and do another drug test, even though i just did both like a month ago.
Good luck! -
I did a drug test before the academy, during the academy and then again for orientation.
good luck to you!
make sure to drink lots of water while out there, it gets really hot and the temps are even higher than when I was there. They wont say anything if you stop and get a drink, Howard will even tell you that you should have one of their cups of water every 15 minutes at least when hot sometimes I had 5 lol -
It's nice and toasty, but keeping up with water so far has been easy. Only thing giving me problems is learning the clutch. Always used automatic transmissions so slowing me down some but not letting it beat me. Only downside if Premier, is net is payed for, using the remainder of what I payed for to study a little more with. Only downside here, is I wish I had more time in the truck to work with to get used to shifting. I will say though, am enjoying it here so far.
-
dont worry I knew a few who never touched a clutch and did fine, you will also have a couple days on the road just learning to shift, also when you guys drive around the track use that time to get as much shift practice as you can, you only get to go to 4th but it still gives you practice
-
lol yeah i remember driving around the range, just shift up and down and up and down, its good practice to learn where the gears are. once you get on road training you will spend an entire 4 or so hours just shifting. and after that they add in turns and city driving, which also helps you get the shifting down.
keep up the good work!
