Starting Stevens orientation

    Hello everyone first port on site.

    i already have my cdl from massachusetts have orientation start date of July 8th. Any advise before I get there ? What am I in for ? I retired from fire service starting new adventure recently divorced.

    Why are you waiting so long to start orientation?Don't Stevens have orientation 2 or 3 times a week?Congrats on your CDL.Your trainer is sacrificing his trk so be nice and listen to everything he says.

    My sons graduation on June 8th and I sold my house and have closing on June 24th so the date of July 8th worked out great.

    Welcome aboard. The training is pretty in depth and you will cover a lot of ground in it. Remember to take a few moments each day to appreciate and enjoy the ride. It is a beautiful country out there and you will see most of it.

    I made it to 45 of the lower 48 in my first year with Stevens.

    Listen to your trainer, enjoy the time, ask questions, seek to be the best you can be. Take a breath, realize you can't learn everything the first day and strive to do a little better each day, no matter how long you're out there.
