With 2 years experience, why go to a training company. Go to Prime or something. Seems like it would be a move backwards.

Or at least go back to Central.

Stevens qualifications=you must be 21, that's about it.

Being in california, how about Gordon ??

Absolutely. How could there be so many good college football and basketball players if it was otherwise?

well the thing is I have a hard time getting my experience verified. :biggrin_25510: Firt company I was with was CRST... god awful company.... I didnt I did a newbee move and did not finish the contract... So they wont verify if they know it is another trucking company. Then I went local with a great company. They will verify me but OTR companies will not count that as experience.. and central ref i was there like 4 months. I got arrested on time off because of a dumb move on my friends part. (fighting at bar). Charges dropped but central was like "Hey- where the hell were you." I could not get around it. They let me go. So there was another contract :biggrin_25524:... Thats why im picking a good "training" company. Im currently on "juvenile" parole.. (stupid california)!!!!:biggrin_25523: yes im 24 and on "juvenile parole. well thats what central found out. I told them. they said i cant go back untill im off that... I get off on my 25 Bday.... aug 13th.. so im hoping they will take me back....

Just remember, when you cross the border and do a records check, it most likely be more advanced that the local trucking company doing the same check. I have had friends turned away from the border for a DUI 30 years prior, and others put in a holding cell for something they forgotn to mention to Canadain Customs. When you get your job ( and you notice I say WHEN, not IF) you just let your employer know you cant go to Canada, there will be plenty of drivers that wil want to go. I used to love running Canada, but I havent crossed the border since 9/11/01
I wish you luck and safe miles, but neve omit facts in an application.

Hey Larry,,, I like your thinking "neve omit facts in an application." Sometimes you really have to abide to that rule...

Title 19 of the Colorado Revised Statutes
    Juvenile Records
Confidentiality. In general, all records in juvenile cases are confidential and cannot be disclosed
to the public except by a court order. In dependency and neglect cases, records may be disclosed
only if a child dies as the result of abuse and the death becomes a matter of public record or
charges are filed against the alleged perpetrator of the abuse. In delinquency cases, court records
concerning juveniles charged with serious felonies and weapons violations are open to the
public. The victim may also have access to certain juvenile records.
