Says the guy who has sat on the sidelines more than any other Prime driver over the last two months.

Not even the good type of "sitting" (on hometime)...

Calling reefer "not real work" sounds disrespectful of a lot of other drivers.

Hauling refer requires alot of overnite runs, and I doubt a newbe like yourself could handle it.

ORD says it is not work... well I can say that I am working and getting paid as much if not more than ORD and other flatbedders and I sure won't break a sweat in the summer time. I call that working smarter, not harder:biggrin_25517:

Really? Sitting in Springfield since Saturday with a load that drops on Tuesday there in Missouri?

    Activity indeed.

Maybe just different mind set being I'm L/O, but U2 and the others are somewhat right. If load doesn't drop till tuesday, you need to leave that load there and grab another one that keeps you running and making money. Sitting is not productive, not only you not making money, but Co. not making money. That effects everyone. Just my 2 cents as usual.

    NOOB ALERT QUESTION!!!:biggrin_2554:
Ok, so ORD has a load not due to drop for a couple of days, options: sit a couple of days...or get another load (while not losing current load) drop new load and then hook up waiting load?...
    Option sounds gr8 2 me! Miles & $$$
    But please do clarify.
I am actually waiting on that call from my recruiter, recruiter is waiting for a previous employer to call her or at least say I did work there I guess, so I can get this ball rollin'.
I actually have followed the tale of ORD from stahhht to now, and since I have been on this TTR forum, have gained some helpful knowledge, and learned to disiminate the ####e from the trolls and the wealth of knowledge from U2Exit, IP, Easy Steamer...and yes ORD as well.
Also can some of you guys 'educate' me on some of the terminolgy like: deadheading, etc.
    Thanks

He's got no business telling others that reefers do a lot sitting.

He certainly the most prolific poster here with an average of 10 posts per day here on the Prime forums in just 10 months...

Anyone paying attention to where he was and has been can see he isn't the most productive driver.

    rachi Thanks this.
