    I remember Fisker was going to take over one of those closed plants, but went bankrupt.
    Elio Motors took over a closed GM plant in Louisana. I'd like to have one of their cars; 84 mpg.

    Yes, the GM Plant in Newport DE was to be the Fisker Plant... They took the money and ran back to Finland or wherever they are from.

    should just find a O/O to train you, youd learn more and get better training

    Congrats on getting your Cdl. I would suggest keeping an eye out for a yard jockey position. Some of the old-timers may laugh at that but it's a good way to get experience while you look for something else. I did it for a year and a half while I was between driving jobs. I really perfected my backing skills, and stayed fit too. Keep us posted, I'm sure you will find something. Just having a clean Cdl can get you a long way nowadays
