They offered .54 cpm. Hell, might as well go to Iowa and see what this is all about.

Wonder if that's split for teams. Either that or it includes bonuses that are hard to reach. I remember some Western Express ads had $.75 cpm but the fine print meant if you achieved all bonuses.

Probably Team Split, 54 / now 27, less per diem (10) 17 less the 2% hey charge to pay you, so now you 54 cpm offer is really 15 cpm.

I'm pretty sure that's a split between you and your co driver which is 27 cpm which is standard with the starter companies.

As a trainer. and what is this 2% to pay me? The Per Diem works fine for my situation , but I don't understand how they take 2% ...how do they justify that?

The problem is per diem is not counted as income, hinders you in getting say a home or car loan, also does not count as income for social security amount other things, this means less money for you when you retire.

They take the 2 cents and you have no choice, because it is one of the ways that CRST screws you. You are paying them 2 cpm to drive there truck.

Theres more to why per diem is bad for the drivers if you search the other threads here. Per diem is only good for the company, absolutely no benefit to you.

Not to mention they don't have easy pass. Good luck paying cash for tolls out of your own pocket and then have to chase down your money to get reimbursed. They will come up with every excuse why not to pay you back. I'm local but I was talking to a CRST driver that was upset at the pilot last night. Her dispatch had her routed over the GW and on her qualcomm they told her she was only getting 25.00 back for a 95.00 toll to cross the bridge. Rotten Scum is all I have to say I felt for her and her co-driver thats not right
