HELLO, lol I am very sorry it has been so long, driving like crazy, lots of miles (running around 2900-to 3100 a week ) have been going coast to coast,
They have missed home time a couple times byh 3-4 days, thats ok for me , but man that would make me mad if I needed to be home...
so far had the truck in for short mait, HAHA, alway turns into something eles, have been to Medford, modesta, indy, and I think that they all need to learn more, sorry guys, but my god...11 hours for an oil change !!! what the F@##,
but when someone alittle hire up calls and ask why so long Bam 10 mins heres your truck .... hhmmmmm lazy assess
lolol
anyways lot of loads out there just have to keep sending your mac 16 (arrival time) and they kept me humping....
right now I am full of gripes of the shippers and other drivers on the road LOLOLOL

Yeah Tonka thats them in a nutshell...I was in for a service and was there in Medford for over 14 hrs...they walked around,BS'd...went for dinner...talked some more...Then I finally called Jim (safety) and got him to push them along since my dispatcher couldn't sway them at all...Lazy tech's...Oh and don't forget the shift change..OMG!
You know you've been there too long when you've taken 2 SHOWERS waiting for your truck..... -
wow I thought I was the only one that this stuff happens to, allow me a couple min.s of your time folks....lolol
here goes,The mait.s in this company is in my thoughts the worst I have ever seen by anyone standards they are slow slow, I went in for a short P.M. in 2 day's I had my windsheild wippers replaced, fluid filled up a tail light put in my storage bin and a oil change , they said I need a front end allinment, it was running good. I said no it is ok, they had to do it.....Now I have to hold the wheel to the left to keep str8. if I let go of the wheel it makes a sharp right.. boy glad they fixed thaT
NEXT: home time, HAHA from the start I never asked for anything, I help 3 driver get home by trading loads ("dispatcher we will not forget this ") 2 times it kept me out for 3 weeks...They have only got me home 2 times with in 3 days of when I requested..ok I understand
Now, I had home time set for this friday(,on thursday dad falls and in in grave shape)
I mac dispatch told them we are working on getting you home, ok friday goes by sat,sun.. On sunday they give me a run from seymour ohio to Terrahut In. and it has 6 stops ending on Findly Ohio..557 miles 6 stops and 11 hours to do it..... IT CAN NOT BE DONE< so then I would not be getting home until after tuesday,
NO one very reads the mac's do not let them lie about that they do not read them, I sent 68 macs from thursady until 1 hour ago..
I guess that is what they ment by we will not forget you helping us out...Day shift does not talk to night and talk to weedend people !!!!!
So I am sitting here in Indy Term waiting on a plane to get me home so I can give permission to pull the life support on my father who as been it pain since all this happened
I could go on for hours about things, but, now is not the time. for my thought and anger are building with every key stroke.....
OH yes one more thing They do hold the DAC over your head !!!!!
Be safe gang

I am sorry to here about your Father. Your fat ### dispatcher could care less. He only cares about moving freight the H### with the drivers. He treats drivers like garbage but yet still has a job. That says alot about gordon as a company, load first not your family. Tonka I wish you the best, maybe you can find a real company to go with as I did.
tonkatruck Thanks this. -
I know what your going through Tonka i had the same problems when I drove for them, that fat ##### driver manager from the indy terminal does not give a #### about his rookie drivers he has a couple drivers that came over with him from schneider that he takes care of, thats why I'm not there any more. If you still have issues call Brent W. or just go straight to the top and complain. and I'm very sorry to here about your father, my prayers are with you and your family.

Don't really know where to put this and didn't want to start a new thread, but I put in an app to Gordon when I started Truck School in the beginning of May and I've called almost everyweek to check up on my app. Today I call and I get the recruiter telling me my app is in process and he will call me later after he sees what is going on. No call from him today, I don't really want to wait a whole lot longer but I don't want to go to Werner either. Anyone know if my app being "in process" is a good or bad thing. Thanks.

it does take them awhile it took 1 month to hear back from them for me...they do have alot of apps
