I'm so glad you started this thread! It helps to give us an idea of what actually happens and how to be better prepared. Whenever I start school, Schneider bulk is in my top 3 to apply too when the time comes. Do they let you take the truck home? The closest terminal is a couple hours from me. Also, they don't test your heart rate and blood pressure after doing all those lifts and everything........do they?

You cant take your truck home if tanker. I live 3 hours away so would have to drive back and forth come home time.

They do check your heart rate after each test. Can't go over your limit which is based on your age. For me at 26 my limit was 173 and got as high as 156 due to being out of shape.

This is true, I failed my original hr test. I am 21, max heart rate was 179, I hit 183. Came back 2 weeks later and didn't pass more than 155 bps. My suggestion is eat fish oil everyday and start practicing stair climber. I was at 268lbs at 5'6" when I failed. I'l update tonight

Well that sucks. I was really hoping you could at least take the cab home. I'm interested to see how you feel about that 3 hour drive home in a few months when you're on your own and driving longer routes lol.

Did you just take one fish oil a day for those 2 weeks only? I climb the stairs everyday at home so that's covered. Though I am out of shape myself :(

Buy some fish pills, and take 2-3 a day with food. Take them everyday. 1. They are good for you. 2. They will help to lower overall hr over 2weeks minimum. Keep working at it you'll be okay

    Gin86 Thanks this.
