I had a guy get stuck in a gravel lot next to my truck with one of those. Completely blew my mind.

Hopefully all goes well with this load. The HIT system is going to be fun to play with. Temp range needs to be between 80-90 and if I just ran with it connected the whole time the temp would be too high. Probable going to run it when I stop for the night to bring the temps into range and shut it off.

First things first I need to buy 4 gallons of coolant to fill the system.

I missed the pre-orientation call in yesterday. It was just a conference call but the area I live in had a bit of icing, annnnnnd we lost power for a bit. No cell service either. Can't wait to move, it stays cold up on the mountain..

The call is just then telling you what to expect in the bulk division. Mostly to answer questions you have before coming over.

On another note make sure to have the shop charge the HIT system if picking up at the yard. I hoocked my hoses to it and left it on high idle for 10 minutes with no decrease in coolent level so I assumed the driver that dropped it charged it already. Nope! I get 10 miles down the road and my stop engine light comes on. Pull over and see that all my coolent has drained. Thankfully the previous driver of the truck left 2 gallons of coolent so I refilled, closed my HIT valves and went back to the yard. After refilling my jugs and driving around the yard a bit the HIT system was finally charged.

Was 75 when I picked it up and decided to drive with it and by the end of my day it was at 90.

Heat in transit, some loads are required to remain in certain temperature ranges while in transit from plant to purchaser, so you hook up heat in transit lines from the tractor to the trailer and run coolant through it at the tractor temperature or so to help it gain or maintain its temperature level

    TaterFox and newbietrucker91 Thank this.
