Here's hoping for some good runs before home time. Knowing Schneider my next load will be to Houston where I will spend the next 3 days running local runs before home time lol. Cant really think on what I can do before being sent South. Might get a load back up north with another short haul with the 3rd load headed back.
Starting with Schneider bulk

If you need me I'll be in garden City, just look for the ginger throwing his hard hat and cussing... Another damaged, inoperable lights trailer...

Back in New Jersey waiting at the tank wash. Doing another trailer move that requires a special wash and then picking up a preloaded trailer from the same customer headed to Texas. Will arrive a day earlier than what my home time is set so looking forward to all the local runs I will get.
Really don't mind since this last week has been so slow that I'll take whatever loads they have but will probable regret it lol.SlowpokeTrucker and Juanthehumanoid Thank this. -

Schneider has it out for me I swear lol. Got a call from operations yesterday that my preloaded trailer was delayed and to hold off on delivering my empty. 10am comes around next day so I decided to deliver the empty and see if my preload was ready, and then to see a truck pulling MY preloaded trailer from the tank wash.
So ok it has not even arrived at the customer yet.... ok well I already started my day so I finish my pre-trip and head over.
Again Schneider forgot to send me a bill number for this empty since the customer needs it to accept the trailer. After dropping the trailer the guy tells me that other trailer has not even arrived yet.
I am sitting here for 30 minutes and the guy finally arrives with the trailer. Either he got lost or did a 30 min break somewhere. Place is only 50 miles from the tank wash.
Now I'm sitting here waiting for dispatch to tell me what to do. I will either be sent to get another load or wait for this one to be loaded but since it's so late they might not get to it today. It's not getting to Houston ontime that's for sure.
Can't catch a break!Juanthehumanoid Thanks this. -

True....be me....going down i-95....afternoon traffic... spending my time at the welcome center in Delaware. Still had 5 hours on the clock but I said screw it. Don't want to be looking for a parking spot in Virgina at night. As long as I do 500 miles tomorrow and Wednesday I'll make the delivery on time.
Juanthehumanoid Thanks this.
