I guess there is no way this will come back to haunt me now after all these years. I got my CDL at 18 as well. No review board or anything. Was quiet simple, Go work for the DOT on the road crew, Had my CDL within 2 weeks, Quit the DOT after 6 months & went to work. Now NC has got wise to people doing this & from what I understand If you get your CDL through them, They slap NC only & no Tractor Trailer restrictions on them. Looking back I should've stayed at the DOT, Would have a nice cushy crew leader job by now & halfway to 30 years with them:biggrin_25510:
I did run other states before I turned 21, probly for about 9 months. Never got caught, of course never rolled over a scale either. Can't go across them pulling a bucket haha. I'm not saying what I did wasn't wrong, or that I didn't know it. Put those Pete's & shiney frameless trailers called my name.
