Lol...he'll never tell...why attract attention to yourself...

To prove that point....I got a call today from a credit rating company. The caller gleaned some info from a thread I started in regards to a dishonest broker....Don't think that for one minute that there are not eyes reading this thread that could find enough info from posters who post everything under the sun here.... This is all public info btw......

If you were to post a comment about how you run scales, and then your rig is posted in the truck picture section of this board....don't be surprised if DOT pulls your a-z-z over.....

i cant understand why anyone would try and cheat their taxes,or even want to.to me it is just a childish way to hide something from mommy and daddy and seem like a big shot to your friends or any stranger you meet and neither one cares.
or maybe your an illegal alien...
report all your miles and all your fuel purchases and dont worry about it.

    Just so you know.
I worked at a business that had an audit from the Fuel tax people. They went to the fuel records and then the IRP records. They also reviewed the IFTA reports matching them to the IRP miles. They then pulled several samples from the shipping papers and reviewed the miles posted from the trips and looked for fuel records. They then examined the records to see when fuel was purchased for the trip and if the miles were matching an odometer reading. They went out and got a truck and examined the odometer and then the maintenance records to see where the repairs were done as well.

You may have been lucky, but I expect more people will have the benefit of these audits in the future. After all, the states are looking for money.

    You nailed it....
Also....EOBRs may very well soon be required for everyone...not just drivers who have a problem keeping accurate log records (I'm being nice)....That same technology can be applied to everything we do....add a GPS and cameras in the cab...welcome to Oceania....and the ACLU will not defend us btw....
