Ohio will NOT accept electronic and you better have a copy of os1A forum with it also , I had a printed copy but it was a light kinda fuzzy copy last week , and OH boy thought I didn't even have one , I had electronic copy on my phone , so I knew it was good but they didn't care , I am ashamed of ohio for this. Just sayin.didn't get an tickets but just as easily could have been lookin for a new permit,

Ordered Montana permit thru Billings last week, lady was great to work with help with route to stay out of DW-21, she told me Montana now allows electronic permit copies "as long as the weigh master can see it". Guess smart ph screen to small, not sure on that one.
Took Ipad into Sheridan port, no problem. He punched it in to his and printed out hard copy handed to me saying
"just in case computer goes down", Good to go.

This is what I have on my list so far:

    CO – MN – IN – MD – IL – AB – NB - NC

E-Permit allowed: Upon request, the driver may display the image of the permit on an electronic device (smart phones, iPads, laptops, etc) as an option and alternative to the printed paper permit.

    Happy weekend!

I always thought Texas was on the list. But a coworker told me that he got a warning for having an ecopy.

Requiring paper permit today is ridiculous. Same with all the other registrations, ifta, insurance. It all is registered on the SAFER system.
OD permits all the LEO's can look them up on the state system.
Ya I know what if system is down. Then we should have a free pass. Just sayin.

This is No Joke the fine is unreal, I had a driver get nailed Yesterday, as he did not have it printed but both his escorts had a copy and the OHDOT still wrote the ticket to the driver, fine is supposedly hefty also will find out when we fight it.. As the escort had copies with them as required.. Gonna try doubt We will win

The port of entry off of I-15 south bound headed into AZ accepted my electronic permit.
Utah has never gave me any grief either, although I have had them print me off a copy when I've rolled through a scale house.
