YES, YES, YES, lets regulate everything, and become another communistic country. Lets all chant now, Yes We Can, Yes We Can. That is the most stupid ridicules thing anyone has said

 

We are most certainly well on our way. Soon we will have Goosestepping Stormtroopers coming into our homes and businesses to make sure we are following the government directives. Places such as this forum, unless they are Pro Government, will be shut down, and those that speak their minds will be sent to reeducation camps. The idea of hard work, and fair pay will become bread lines and government controlled housing.

 

Perhaps SOME regulation,

as it pertains to safety,

is a GOOD THING !!!

 

Typically the regulations are controlled and pushed through from high dollar special interest groups, that have their own agendas, not always safety minded. This is usually driven my the all mighty dollar $$$$. This also applies to the majority of law enforcement as a means to generate revenue.
If Uncle Sugar, MAdd, etc were really concerned about "Safety", they wouldn't push more regulation on the driver, instead work with the companies to help bring wages up to the avg working mans wage. Pay driver, O/O, L/O a wage where they don't have to push the envelope to back a decent living. Don't penalize the hard working American, that is just trying to make a living, spending days, weeks, months away from home, providing a honest way for his/her family, in the name of Safety. The "Government" can't even clean its own house, let alone try to clean or control mine.
Maybe Uncle Sugar can just write all of us our own bail-out checks. Better yet, give us a home, a government controlled job, a food card.

Every time that I see the JCT logo on the trailers, I shout out "JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!" How odd of me.

 

Yes, "odd" is one way of putting it.

 

YOU should try passing one when your truck only goes 64mph, and these guys are travelling 61mph. They are fast enough to make it difficult to pass, but slow enough to make you keep playing the "catch up / hit brakes and back off / catch up" game.

Now you see why I ritually shout JC!
