The silk/wool blend is also extremely good. Can be quite pricey, but worth it.
The set I have is good to negative temps.

I have an Espar D2 heater I replaced with a D4
Worked when I removed it but it might need to be cleaned
Not sure if it has the thermostat as my truck has the heat and ac in one
So might need that
If interested or anyone else let me know -

Merino wool not cheap but lasts for years. You get what you pay for. HELLY HANSEN or WOOLOVE.
Heavier polyester “Drywear” brand is very warm but if you are doing a lot of physical labor you’ll sweat like pig…great for some out door,,best for ice fishing or other outdoor lawn chair activities in the winterLast edited: Dec 18, 2021

Candy bars and pop, lots of them. Once you get up to around 600 lbs, taper off and maintain. At that weight, you should be able to walk around outside in Michigan without any clothes at all.
HiramKingWilliams and leviant0107 Thank this. -

I don't wear any long johns or thermal undelayers, just a good set of Helly Hansen insulated outers. They came in pretty handy yesterday up here..
