    Is that a thing now? I think that's a thing now. It was there when I parked last night. Now it's not there. How much do they run and where can one purchase one? Are they truck specific, or one size fits all?

    Someone stole mine, tether and all. I took a ziplock bag place around the filler neck and zip tied it around until the new one ca,e in. So I'm guessing it is a thing now.

    I hear about that happening more and more, and I don't understand it. Every def cap I have ever seen was tethered to the tank, so how are so many people losing them? Or are they breaking them? Idk... it's just another one of life's great mysteries.

    Mine isn't tethered on a t680. They do make lockable def caps for my truck, but I hadn't anticipated actually needing to spend 25 bucks on something my truck already had. Right now my def cap is a blue(clean) oil rag.

    I just know what that #### looks like when it hits the air, so I'm kinda freaking out about it.

    Right now it's the least of my worries. I'm 3600 over on my trailer axle. Really Walmart?!

    Every piece of Cat equipment that rolls out of the factory has a locking DEF cap. Why not trucks as well?
