stealing Millis freight?

Not sure if its Millis. A guy on the AB account got canned for bragging about it in Cartersville a few weeks ago before the other company broke it to their drivers. I think werner dropped about 30 dedicated trailers in Cartersville. Probably took some freight of that other southeastern truck line down there that runs Jacksonville too.

Werner already runs out of Baldwinsville, Jacksonville, Cartersville, Columbus, St. Louis, and Ft. Collins. They won a large chunk of JB Hunt's freight out of St. Louis about this time last year, and added about 80 trailers and 40 trucks to the account. Their only real stronghold is Columbus, OH, which is where they run all their Budweieser dedicated trailers out of. The rest is subject to performance and underbidding.

 

WRONG!!! CCC just lost FL to Werner. Had recruiters from both companies come in two days apart. The CCC recruiter said they had lost the AB account to another co. and the Werner recruiter said "We just picked up a large dedicated account in FL." I joked "Who Budweiser?" and he broke out laughing and asked me how I knew that. This was 3 weeks ago. Done deal!
