Old man had a hot water washer. My job every weekend was to clean the trucks. You could just about eat off the engine and inside of the frame rails. Took about 4 hours to do the truck and trailer.

If you get through Fresno the truck wash there has wheel lifts and they’ll get under there and steam clean it. Used to be $300, not sure what it is now.

$175. Expect about two hours to get the tractor done. I always tip the guy in the oil covered suit at least $20 when it's done. He's been with them five years.

Tug Toy, sawmill and JonJon78 Thank this.

Whatever degreaser gives you that warm fuzzy feeling and a steam genny does wonders. Our trucks get done regularly, usually at the wet service, and for sure every time they’re inside for repairs. My wrench bender doesn’t like working on slimey stuff. It’s worth the cost just in heading off corrosion and a happy mechanic. I did get a comment from a D.O.T in the course of a Level 1. He said “a guy that steam cleans the underside of his truck can’t be trying to hide much”
