    Hi,

Anyone have a step by step guide on how to secure a steel coil? I’m pretty sure that’s what I’m picking up after I read my load assignment and I’ve never even used my chains before so I’m a little nervous.

    Best regards, John

P.S. it says “Product” and then, “Coil Rate B.”
P.S.S. I’ve mostly got ratchet binders

I’m not really sure what the best way to go is in terms of securement/safety

I will guess that you have proper dunnage.
    Single coil or more?
Do you have coil racks and pads?
Any friction mats and or enough edge protection?

    Does the load require tarp?
    Do you have any padding?

cke, D.Tibbitt, TripleSix and 3 others Thank this.

I’ve got coil racks/pads, plenty of dunnage and metal edge protectors; I don’t think I have any friction mats and yes it has to be tarped
