You sissy! :D Welcome to flatbeddin in the summer!

If you got your dunnage and racks set up right, you're pretty much gtg. Make sure your binders are good and tight (a couple extra tugs on the binder handle with the winch bar should do it) and roll down the road.

Question; would you accept some different ideas about the load you posted?

    Coffey and farmerjohn64 Thank this.

I bet he's gonna say you need to wrap your chains around your stake pockets, not hook directly to them. And spread your front and rear chains out a bit more.

For the most part, it looks like your methods are going in the right direction. A few minor changes could help keep things from going not good.

looking at your dunnage, I note it is only as wide as the coil. If for some reason it should slide sideways, it will drop out of the dunnage. This could cause things to get loose. If the dunnage was all the way across the deck, all you have is a shift.

Yes, wrapping the chains around the pocket. As it is in the picture, you really only have half the pocket as securement. Should a hard pull on them happen, they will rip that pocket.

Both of these things I have seen happen. The outcome was not good.
