I was running loads into a place just North east of Napa CA called the Gysers, the access road was marked 15%. The drive tire with the axle lock locked in were slipping all the way to the top. No shifting get to 3rd gear and hope you have enough power to hold it. If you get stopped they send a CAT Crawler down after you.

Great area up in the Redwoods.... Narrow twisty steep roads covered in pine needles, that helps alot. Glad they don't drill well up there in the winter.

Off the top of my head posted grade would be Blaine WA port of entry going north bound in Canada 10% grade right there in town with a speed limit too! I’m sure I’ve run steeper that were posted as well just can’t remember, Use to run Kamloops old route not the toll road and Calgary and Edmonton as well, there are some decent grades on the old road. Un-posted? Not sure. Been on a few roads in the Sierra Nevada’s that were not truck routes so who knows. P.S. I run extremely light loads for the most part so this really isn’t a fair question for me to answer.

I dont know which was worse running Cabbage the first time or the gorge those were eye openers the first time thru. The gorge wasn't bad the 2nd time but cabbage was still an eye opener
