If you have alignment or suspension problems, no tire is going to wear properly. I agree with EverLuc on the Conti HSR2. IMO best steer you can buy for local/regional driving. Great value. Stay away from Chinese no matter how cheap, you'll have constant vibration issues and will wear like a pencil eraser.

Have always had bridgestones. For me they have the thickest edge which I like since Volvos wear on one edge - inside left on drivers side, outside on passenger. Don't argue with me on this. lol This is a known Volvo issue (at least for my model, and they even got sued over it) not alignment or anything else. What saved me were centramatics. Dramatically improved wear. They should come standard on all new trucks! All I do is swap them side to side every 50k or so and keep trucking! Wasn't impressed with the Michelins I had that came on her. I don't understand why drivers like them.

well.............My secret is out....
The Bottom Line here is..LONGEVITY.
Where can a guy purchase tires for his truck and not "Sweat it" for 3 years 300,000k??
Go with Samson Drive and trailer tires..(16 ply).........I am SOOOO Happy with the Results I have Gotten.
I Haul Heavy Year Round (35-48k)..And I Replaced my Samsons with NEW samsons after Getting 290,000 Miles on Them With 20% Meat left.
Am i Pleased?? For Goodness sakes YES! Finally..Someone is making a tire that will last me without having to replace every 150,000 miles
Not everyone sells samsons.......I buy mine at Chicago Tire co in South holland,Il..... Cost of 8 drives mounted with your carcasses will run around $2800
You guys that 'think' goodYear and michelin..... need to really 'think' about this here. -
Some of us do think. The good year fuel saving drives I have on my truck have just over 350k miles on them. I'll regrow them and get another hundred thousand miles east. After that I'm going with the michelins to see how well they do. Every operation is different, best value for you is not best value for me, and vice versa.
