While accelerating at low speeds, like 20 mph Nothing dangerous or uncontrollable, but kind of annoying and worrisome. Just an alignment issue hopefully? Or something more serious, like steering box going or suspension issue? New front shocks didn't help, and I have new bushings put in last year so it's not that either I don't think. 2016 cascadia
Tires? Sometimes I get that when they’re brand new, don’t know why, once I pick up speed they balance out. After a couple weeks, goes away.
Did it shake before and after the alignment, if the rear ends weren't done you need to have them aligned?
I haven't had an alignment for a year, and I've been putting on other tires since then. It's probably just uneven tires, hopefully..
The king pins are a component of the tractor front end. I am in an area where my data signal is really bad, otherwise I would try and post a diagram. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
To check the king pins just jack up one side at a time of the FT. end and stick the tire bar in the low hole in the wheel and rock it back and forth there should be no movement if you see it moving look for any slop in bearings or king pins? When the wheels are back on the ground get someone to shake the steering and ck a) tie rod ends for play and steering box arm to box for slop?
Cool, thanks! I'm gonna try that. However... the file you attached is about a cab heater cover of some kind.
