Its gonna be one of the two but most likely providing height allows for the size farm tractor I have will be the 22.5 with the 11' top deck and 30" kingpin. I wish there was some place here that has one so I could check it out and make sure my truck will clear the neck drop at the rear of the truck frame without having to slide the 5th wheel. The two listed above are the closest ones I can find to me except one in Memphis which has that tire inflation crap which I don't like. The more complicated the plumbing the easier it is to stop up, know what I mean? Lol. These two in Georgia don't have the tire inflation system. I'm dreaded to drive that far just to pick up a trailer but it looks like I don't have much of a choice if I want to che k it out rather than pay for it then have it delivered and it not work out.
The J hook securment really caught my eye too as it seems easier to use with chains although I have never used it.
Step deck decision help!

A 30" KP on a 11' is the same as a 18" on a 10'. I'm currently pulling that with light bar mudflaps. Fifth wheel all the way back on a 12" KP on 8 foot upper. That was tight! 265" wb Western Star. You should have no problem with either trailer. If your going to move that tractor a lot, I'd get a beaver tail trailer, or at least some 16' ramps.
My next trailer will have 17.5 tires with an inflation system, but I have freight that is taller than 10'2" that I can haul to make the drawbacks worthwhile.Skunk_Truck_2590 Thanks this. -
This is what I have except with a frontend loader. I wanna say its at 10' but not sure. Won't be able to tell till I make it back home.

Ok scratch that. I found the dimensions on line and it is 113.3 inches tall overall which is basically 9' 4" so I'm rounding it up to 9' 5". Not sure how high the deck on the 22.5 is.

The average step with 22.5 tires is around 39"-40" lower deck height.

Sweet. I rounded up deck height to 40" then added 113.4" for a total 153.4" tall being that 13' 6" is 162". I kinda figured it would be getting pretty #### close. So if all in all is correct then I will be going with the 22.5 trailer leaving it easier to find tires, and no special need for a really low deck. Thanks fellas!

I see you have already got it figured out but here is the specs on the tractor. http://www.kubota.com/product/GrandX/pdf/grandx_spec.pdf
We deliver them using a 3500hd Dodge and a gooseneck with no problem btw. So I would not be afraid to go that route if you ever have to. -
I delivered a new East stepdeck for the truck show in Dallas last week. It was a 3 axle (rear 2 axles lifted independently) 53' w/17.5 tires. It pulled really nice. after many years of pulling my own step w/ 22.5 tires. I would definently give a 3 axle w/17.5's a try. If you were light you could lift, close tandem or spread axle or all down if heavy or running a little harder/ faster. Just a thought about a 3 axle vs 2 axle.

You are in Louisiana. You might check with Walker Trailer in Monroe. They have a lot of trailers. I don't know if they have Benson. You may also check with Superior. Their main facility is near Terrell, TX on 80. They also have a dealership in Oklahoma City. Again, I don't know whether either of these dealers handle Benson, but they have a large selection of flats and step decks. I found my step deck in Tennessee. That would be a little further for you to drive.
