You just need to do it more often then, it won't hurt so bad.

I have 2 - 16x24, 1 - 16x16, and 1 smoke tarp. I also carry 10 mover's blankets to keep them from ripping. I've been wanting to get another 16 x 24 so I can turn 'em sideways and do the nose tarp on the front and 16 x 16 on the back if need be. The 10 ft drops turned sideways for 6 ' drop sounds like a good idea, but I always figure for crazy oversized stuff that needs tarps I can just get a cheapie from Menard's or something and if I'm careful to use my mover's blankets and strap it, tape it and strap it again it might even last for a load or two !

btw, 3 - 16 x 24's, 1- 16x16, 1 smoke tarp and 10 mover's blankets fit fine in 2 - 24x24x48 side boxes if you fold them in twice, then triple and roll. which is also a consideration. where to put em all

Sounds like he means, fold each side in twice, then fold each side together (triple), then roll them. Takes longer, but makes for a nice tight roll that will take a lot less space. Most drivers get to the triple fold, then they take one end, and drag it 3/4 of the way down then roll.

Hope that clarified it and I wasn't thinking the wrong thing. :D
