I carry 1 bar and it's a decent length but I've never had problems with stepdecks. Our double drops yes.

SOP for low deck truckers: Cut the end of the bar off with a chop saw to shorten it up. Can also put a bigger bend in the tapered end.

Riprap, MJ1657 and DDlighttruck Thank this.

I use the quick winch ratchet bar and welded the attachements to all my winches.under $200 labor and parts, the best system i ever had.
U dont have to worry about clearence or the weather or removing and reinserting the bar with every stroke.

I currently pull a tri axle step with 11' on the granny deck and 37' on the lower.
The only challenge so far is tarping.
The transition between upper and lower is sometimes a challenge.
Haven't had any trouble with winches yet.
The area around the tires can be a bit of a challenge, but I found if you cross strap or cross chain it works pretty good.
I also have the clips for the track which are real handy. Need a few more.

Does anyone else wonder why people post the exact same things others have posted in threads?

Are they not able to read or do they just like to hear themselves type?

I dunno. Have you ever wondered why some people come into a thread and just post the same stuff someone else has posted? Makes one think that they just can't read, or maybe they just like to read their own posts. You know?

    Chasingthesky and MJ1657 Thank this.

In my opinion I believe that they don't realize that they can search for the topic they are looking for.
