Stepdecks and Dozers

Loading dozers on decks? Epic fails? I'm in....

Many years ago I loaded a dozer on a tag beavertail w/ramps behind a dump truck- you know what's coming.....
Lifted the truck drives off the ground & rode the whole thing down a hill until it jack-knifed. It hit so hard when it finally stopped the front corner of the trailer tore an outer rear drive tire off the wheel.
What a ride that was

Thats me. I'm 47 and still young and strong enough to do things that 10 yrs ago would not effect me. Now,.. I toss my tarps, lug chains, pull and push,.. not realizing at that particular moment,.. that by the time I wake in the morning,. I will be sore and my knees will make me regret jumping off the back of my step deck.

Its kinda like learning not to drink so much. So often as I hugged my porcelain god of serenity, swearing off alcohol,.. only to repeat the same event 1 or 2 weeks later.

nah, I usually only get upset by flying J sandwiches and TA burrito's which have not been temp monitored appropriately

 

Thats truckstop food in general. Burgers that resemble biting into a hockey puck and those tacito things on the rollers that usually have the consistency of a granola bar.

I stock up at walmarts. Tuna on bread I toasted on my Forman grill, Miracle Whip, slice of onion and tomato and some bread and butter pickles. Even something simple as a honey ham and melted velveta. Much better than truck stop food.
