Stepping off the ledge...

Well starting January 6th, I am finally stepping off the ledge and it will be the first official day of business for me, 100% my own trucking company, though I have been in business for 6 months now getting to this point. I must say that this forum has been priceless with helpful folks, a wealth of experience, and knowledge. I have a back ground in the freight I'm moving, but there are many things that have changed since the last time I was in this industry. My call name is ReeferOhio, I have a customer who is reefer grocery freight but decided to stick with what I know, steel. So I just wanted to give a BIG thank you to all the truckers, significant others, industry insiders, and anyone else who uses this forum to spread the knowledge of this industry. And, that there are still truckers who will point you in the right direction so you can figure it out. At the end of the day we move America. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! Im looking forward to the road ahead...

 

I have been involved in a few different businesses, and I view all the preparation, financial planning, education, and research leading up to that actual first day stepping to the ledge… then it's time to get real and step off that ledge and do work. I'm very excited, to have a new adventure to look forward to it has been a long time coming.
