    Kinda my first thought, too...it's obvious he hasn't been well for some time, what with the cancer.

    Ditto. Curious though, he's the driving force behind the Iphone, pad and most everything else. Will his departure crush the stock ?

    Doubtful... that would imply a total loss of confidence in the ability of Apple to profit from the current profit line. But...

    It does bring up the idea of what happens to the creative end of the product design process at Apple. Jobs was certainly the "man behind the curtain" when it came to their product line. I'd think the stock price will hinge on how the company fares with product offerings post-Jobs rather than his day-to-day status with the company.

    Well, the after hours trading is down 5% of AAPL stock...
    But like most announcement at Apple, it's likely to be a rollercoaster tomorrow ending close to closing today I'm guessing.
