Think of your hair as a tape recorder. The THC is deposited into the hair at the follicle. As your hair grows, the part where there’s THC grows further and further away from the follicle. If you have long hair, that means you have many months or even years of hair with THC deposits. Get a short haircut and those go away. Same thing with body hair. Cut it off, let it grow back free of THC.

Because it says in your hair and DOT doesn't recognize thc as medical. I quit 6 months ago but worried about past presences in it being picked up. Thc can stay in your system up to 90 from last usage and can continue to deposit into your hair even though you quit. So I could have it still deposited until 3 months ago. That's why I'm curious about it.

DOT also does not recognize hair testing. At the moment, the only valid drug test it a UA. So a positive hair test would not be reportable to the Clearinghouse.
But as suggested above, do some research. You can surely do better than Stevens

After 6 months you probably will test clean. After 9 months there is no doubt you will test clean.

Shave off all of your hair except your butt hairs. Then tell the sample collector to see his reaction. This would be a lot funnier if you're a 300+ lb man.

You do not have to have long hair. You can cut it to 1.5 inches and be fine for the test, then let it grow long again.

How long your hair is does not define you as a person, unless you make it so.

Well, yes, you do do drugs.
If you are prescribed a drug and you take it, you are doing drugs.

If you take an aspirin for a headache, you are doing drugs.

Being prescribed weed/THC instead of other 'big pharma' pills is no different, except in your own mind - but not by the people that you want to get hired by.

I hear ya', I'd say right here, lady:bootyshake:,,oh, I just ate a greasy burrito that wants out too. I'm sorry for making light of the persons dilemma, I get no satisfaction from others misfortune, it's just we live in a society today where rules are challenged, and there must be a way to have everything you want. Well, newsflash, life doesn't work that way I've found, and there is no utopia, and the Feds call the shots. It's all about how much crap you can take from them.
