I think that I get pretty good miles for company solo. Some weeks are better than others but sometimes you just get on the wrong side of the waves of freight. Gotta realize that there ARE waves or you'll get sucked under and drowned in your own frustrations. I run out my miles when i have them. i make myself available for repowers. I always call ahead to talk to planners before I need a load. I dont ###### about where I'm going or what I'm hauling. Now, even these have their limits but for the most part, I'm happy as long as I'm rolling and have miles in front of me.
Regarding Emulsified comments about the multiple pick ups and ###### drops, anyone with time driving will tell you that there are some runs that "look nice" on paper but just turn out to be the load from hell, ...other loads that look like a ###### sometimes actually go pertty smooth. For the most part, unless you KNOW the run, its really a flip of a coin...TLeaHeart Thanks this. -
Im not going to go back and research to see if I can find triple D's start dates, etc like you apparently have done. But are you saying that because he was in OR-1 for 56 days, that is why he hasnt been employed for a full year with Stevens? In other words he is less than 56 days shy of a full year.
Correct me if Im wrong, and I know that you will, but isnt your hire date the day that you start OR-1? -
That is not what he is saying. Even adding in the OR time he is still a few months short of a year.
-
OK... Guess I read it wrong.

He says he started OR1 around the first part of Aug last year. He stated back in May that he had been OTR for a year and had only made (some random low number) of money after a year OTR. So we still havent hit rthe year point, still a ways to go to get to a year.TLeaHeart Thanks this.

Nascar you are correct hire date is during OR1. But august to may is not a year, and this person tryed to originally claime he had been out with his first trainer for 3 months.
Very easy to click on the posters name and then click on see forum posts to see the history of what anyone has said. Anyone who takes 56 days to complete a 35 day course is NOT going to succede as an alliance driver. No initative to take care of business.
