Nope you've got it all wrong.. your the one with a problem.. I'm no super trucker.. I'm home and have been for hmmm close to 2 weeks.. why? Because I can.. I'm an O/O yup.. but I didn't personaly attack you when I made statements about Steven's.. On the other hand you seem to be full of it yourself.. Talking all the CB bullcrap DO YOU FEEL BETTER NOW...

I'm trying to make a point and all you can do is pick ME apart?haha Your pathetic. I actually don't wait for someone to back into a spot like you say.. I actually HELP them get in.. (I bet you don't)

From the sound you are the one in the middle lane doing 60 in a 65 with a parade behind you up I-95 in VA.. and don't care about anyone but yourself..

I see you've got plenty of time to berate me.. Don't you have anything better to do?? Like find something meaningful to post about your favorite company.. I know youcan't find anything...

    It's all negative..

As stated previously, I do post my positive and negative experiences with Stevens in another thread. Your reading comprehension is sorely missing. There have been mulitpule people who have countered your lies.

Nope I don't hang out in the middle lane. But you do. Your attitude here is one of a super trucker, one that can do no wrong, and that your way is the only way, and you even lie to try and get your point across.

To you yes it is all negative, pointing out your lies, that you think you are the greatest most respectful trucker out there. You give no useful information. I have. Emuslifed has, and you did not even know about the companies that he drove for.

I have watched your type help, on the CB. Then you pull along side the fuel island and park because you cant back that deck trailer into a parking spot. Yes a generalization about deck trailers and the drivers that pull them, just like the generalization gonzo is making about Stevens. Hopefully my point is not lost on intelligent people.

It takes a small man to complaine about a new driver obviously having trouble with a certain aspect of his job. It takes a smaller man to videotape it. V want to be a super trucker, the big guy and the one drivers look up to? Get out and help the new guy.
Btw.. Case in point. That stevens driver was if anything overly careful. Nothing was hit. Nothing was damanged. He'll get better at hooking up as he gains experience provided that people out here fhelp each other out.

I don't understand this guy! TLeaHeart posts the positives AND negatives in the posts that are made! I have read the thread and it greatly helped my decision for Stevens. I can only hope that I meet cool drivers that help me out to get better if I need the help. I also fully intend to pay it forward once I have experience and some new driver is in need of help. If the majority of truckers did that (which I think a lot do) it will greatly help the industry.

Okay I see you cannot let a issue just fade away without trying to have the last word and sound big and bad.

I for 1 did NOT record the Steven's driver backing (or rather making a vain attempt at backing in..) My point is he has made it through drivers training with Steven's?? Or at least far enough for them to let him or her loose on the streets! I sure don't get a "warm & fuzzy" knowing that Steven't puts people like this in the drivers seat.

As for "Aww, he was just having a bad day, excuse.." Come on man open your eyes, he can't back up a bobtail! There is no excuse for messing around like that..

You need more proof just do a subject search of this message board and you'll find reams of complaints and horror stories about Steven's.. http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...y-here/11675-stevens-transport-dallas-tx.html

(Now do you actually want me to link them all??!)

Calling me a super trucker is small minded of you, As you are putting a lot of assumpsions into that remark and you don't even have any basis for that.. You say I "LIE" okay where did I lie?? I have never waivered from my commitment that Steven's is a bad company. Period.

I have helped out students in my past.. I was my battalion master driver in the US Army.. I was in responcible for training, creating, maintaining drivers qualification files and re-licenseing of everyone in my battalion... People in here can't or just don't want to have to admit they are working for an inferior company with few if any morals..

Your only helping them grow, your not getting ahead.. Your buying their truck for them. Assuming all the risk for little payoff. (Somewhere it was stated $9000 a year more.. okay, youcan jump ship and go to another 1/2 way decent company, work 1/2 as hard and make even more income per year if you try.

If someone wants to do somthing constructive and settle this argument I challenge them to scan the complete Steven't drivers handbook and post a link to it so everyone can read it in it's entirity. Oh, and throw a copy of the lease operator agreement too while your at it.. Then we can compare it for ourselves line by line..

Then everyone can see in black and white what ridiculous policies they have. They can see what rights that Steven's wants you to sign away..

I am making this my last responce to this mumbo jumbo where someone with 2 years thinks they know it all.. You want to impress me.. OR prove to everyone how great Steven's is then putting up those documents should be NO PROBLEM...

(I have my suspicions I'm arguing with the recruiting dept. and not even a real driver.. It seems "T" has way too much time on his / her hands to be putting in 3000mi a week and corrospond with me, and have any time for the normal off duty functions like phone home and talk to your significant other.. Get a shower, meal, and laundry.. & load & unload.. Just a hunch)..

For Gonzo, Inside the quoted text you will find my responses in a different color, so you know what I am talking about. It is a courteous thing to do on a message board, so there is no confusion on who I am talking to, or what I am address. it appears Courtesy is something you lack.

Big assumptions on your part again. I am not the recruiting department. I drive truck 9419 as I have stated in my thread Stevens Transport a year in review. Answering your lame excuse for proof takes all of a few minutes a day, and arguing with a super trucker is fun.

My home is where ever I am at each day. I can set and type a response while getting loaded, or unloaded, my presence is not needed. I have internet access where ever I am.

So far 5 other people have also told you what they think. Yet you attribute their thoughts and ideas to me. Your reading comprehension is sorely lacking.

Would love for Mr Gonzo, to post his actual contract with Mercer, and his Profit and Loss Statement to show us all just how great he is at running his business.

And then I will verify what he posts with his home state where he incorporated. A single truck incorporated, expensive move, and protects nothing.

Now for a flash back, in Gonzo's own words,

Good Advice, maybe he should listen to his own advice.

Recruiting is all about quotas, trucking, Military...A good recruiter tells the prospect what they want to here, to get them to sign on the dotted line. A recruiter is a salesman.

    Good advice again...
Okay some decent advice, but a driver must learn to say no, and enforce the work agreement, or change companies. Letting a company use you as a door mat, (not you specifically gonzo), is not being a good business man.

Again, gonzo good advice, one I totally agree with. I paid for my own school, and Only Stevens answered my questions satisfactorily, out of the choices I had.

This post from 6 to 7 months ago...same story as this week. What works for you may not work for me, and what works for me may not work for you. Anyone without a business background should never sign a lease. A person should never sign any agreement without fully understanding it.

Good philosophy Gonzo, go where the money takes you, if that is a company driver, Lease Operator, Owner Operator leased to a company, or a Owner Operator with your own authority. Depends on the persons abilities, needs, wants, and skills.

Gonzo has some good points. Yet he is blinded by Stevens transport, wonder what he did there to get this hatred?
