Stevens can be a great company if you work hard. I'm currently with them but leaving at the end of the month for a local gig. I run Northeast Regional Dedicated to Kraft. Starting pay OTR is $0.30/mile but I make $0.43/mile. You can make decent money...I'm on pace to finish out the year at around $57K. My latest settlement (from this past week) was $1037 with an average around $1000 weekly. But again I run hard, and that's in the constant traffic of Jersey, NYC, CT, and Mass. Also my loads are typically 30 miles to 350 miles each so I run multiple daily. What I'm saying is these jokers who are claiming $300 a week are at fault. If I can pull $1000+ a week in the Northeast with shorter loads, then how can guys and gals running out of the meat patch multiple 100s of miles or thousand mile loads not make money?
Stevens or Schneider ?

.43 for dedicated NE blows....
It seems like more and more carriers are offering a weekly minimum now though, those were rare a decade ago. -
Yeah it's not the greatest and that's why I'm leaving at the end of the month. Also their home time sucks.

Been awhile since I’ve been here. I’m done with Stevens. Everything was great until they started calling me to be a trainer and I declined. I’m still learning a lot and I’m not comfortable with a student under my authority.
SHOJim Thanks this.
