Well. This is the feedback capper. This place is...unique. Prepare to be far outside your comfort zone. The food here's expensive and there's few choices. Cell phone reception is nonexistent for AT&T, but sprint and verizon work well. It costs to do your laundry (about $2.50 altogether) and you have to buy your own toilet paper. Now for the good stuff. The instructors are great. My class seems to get along better than the one before (one fight, guy who started it is in jail) they're really big on safety and by the time you leave here you'll be backing up in your sleep. Study your CDL handbook. It's really important. Study pre tripping a truck for the basics. And bring lots of money. Any more questions just ask man.

Curb,
Thanks a lot for that. Fortunately I changed my cell from At&t to Verizon a few weeks ago based on what I read about coverage nationwide. Wasn't tracking the tp...good to know..lol. In the end I can handle the little stuff but am happy to hear that the training is good because that was a big factor in my choosing Stevens.
Keep up the good work!

Curb or Mus_07,
What's the go with the housing arrangement? I heard it was basically a house that was shared by students? Any truth to that? Are we talking 2-3 to a room, or just old school squadbay full of bunks?
Thanks,
J -
It depends. They have like 7 houses or something. Our is an actual house. 3 room, 4 beds per room except for one which is larger and has 6 beds.

I dont know how the training is in Dallas but id assume its similar. I attended Careers in Denver and dont regret it at all.

Stevens does an excellent job of training, no matter where. They follow the same curricula.
