Yeah, a little, not job or employer or industry related tho. Worthwhile tho...my delivery is next to the water in Norfolk, and the navy ships are simply amazing. They leave no room for pouting or whining. Richmond Cold Storage is currently my favorite delivery.

 

Completely cleared... less than 40 hours, if not for this training starting Sunday I would be ready for dispatch. I am #### impressed if I may say so myself. Kudos to the shop and office staff.

 

Sounds like me except its NYC, Chicago and all of NJ...

 

I got asked tonight to swap my Iowa load for one going to NJ and the Bronx lol. NO!!!!!!!!

 

Hey Clegg, the ol' mantra in the repower dept: You don't ask? You don't get!
I know it will surprise some of you, but there are drivers that would give up almost any load in trade for a NYC load. There are drivers that will give up anything west of the mississippi just to keep east.
And there are drivers that if never asked to go east of Dallas would be happy as can be.
Can you believe there are drivers that would give up almost anything to not go to North Carolina (they hate Smithfield)
Everyone has something different that twirls their propeller.
After a while, you get to know who to ask and who to not ask.

Yea, I can understand the Smithfield thing. They suck the big Ostrich Egg lol.

Yes it is... Unless things have changed since I was there a few years ago.

Room wasnt clean and hadnt beem cleaned in awhile. I actually found black, curly hairs stuck in my wash rag.

On the positive side, the girl working the front desk was kinda hot. Short blonde hair with a couple of small tats.
