I assure you most drivers have and it would be an improvement if they bothered to use it. My border collie after running in the fields in the rain for a few hours smells better than most.

Oh dear Kmac. What are you planning on doing with all the weekends you won't be driving?

I am the father of five grown children. I'm use to being ignored.
    Fear not.

Even I have taken the time to say hello to Emul on the yard. He was still just a lil ol driver at that time.

Is that the AmBest? Has a dirt (mud) parking area behind it and a little cafe beside it? Thats where I always stayed when in Liberal. Once for 3 nights in a row while waiting on a drop and hook that was already ready to go. That little cafe beside the truckstop aint half bad.

Just before the Pilot/Flying J merger, Flying J bought land on Hwy 54 by the US 83 junction, on the east side of town. They had said they were going to build within the next year following that announcement.
Then the Pilot bought them out, so i guess that idea got canned. Shortly after that they bought the Dodge City truck stop and changed it to a Flying J, and that may have been a deciding factor.
It is really strange tho, that neither Pilot nor Loves has built at that junction. Lots of traffic both E/W and N/S.
