So. First load I'm on goes to Laredo. Besides the border patrol & the apparent lack of driving laws in the warehouse area I remained unscathed. Now I'm hustling on a load to NC. 57 miles an hour. Ahhhh the perks of having an alliance trainer lol

Random things from this week or so...
since giving up on trying to keep track of days, have been much more content, and much less shocked.
have successfully managed to turn a 7-11 into a temporary truck stop.
have learned the true value of brakes, aka how to keep the suburban alive while shooting every single item out of the fridge and sleeper into the front with me.
additionally, have learned how to successfully navigate salt lake city traffic while dodging projectiles.
this knowledge came in handy in des moines.
himself has learned the value of the air ride seats. he asked me to put that in here and said i dont need to know what he means but that the guys will.
Should be headed back to the yard soon for grad class. All I have to say bout that is....If Stevens runs us in grad and beyond like they have been during DD, I will be supremely happy. We have not sat at all. Anywhere. Keep it coming!!!
Yall keep er tween the navigational beacons!
Oh oh if you are in one of the many Stevens tractors here at Tyson in Ottowa, IL...Im smack dab in the middle of ya!KMac Thanks this. -
Ottawa was my favorite meat plant. Clean, easy parking and great loads out of there. Most of the time I was only there a couple hours waiting on my load, but I did spend the night once before my load was ready.
Most of my loads out of there were CT, RI and MA loads. Don't know why, but I enjoyed those a lot.
Hope all goes well for you in your next phase, flue. -
Hello everyone. Just want to introduce myself. Another O/O told me about this site. I'm surprised I never heard of it before.
I'm an O/O here at Stevens. Been with them a bit over 8 years.
Been wading thru some of these posts...man there's a lot!
I think I recognize several of you...a couple sure sound like former students of mine!
I'll throw in my two cents worth when asked, and sometimes when not.
Currently I'm on the yard, heading back out this afternoon with a load to Cheyenne and a new T1. -
