Stevens Transport Aviary . . cont'

Here's the skinny on why we were having such difficulty. We picked up a preloaded trailer with three drops. 1st to the rear and so forth. Well our last stop was the heaviest and we were loaded to the door and they really couldn't do much rearranging wise.

 

In NM tonight. Load goes to Dallas. But with the storm heading in, I may be stuck with this Taylor Farms load.

Max left us a few months ago. Melodie is still at Stevens

 

We made the CBS11 (DFW) news break just now. Shows a Stevens truck stuck on the I-35S/I-30E overpass downtown Dallas. Guess he maybe empty. Can't get any traction. Long line of traffic just behind him. Hope the state gets a dump truck spreader to help him get moving.

 

ohhh Crap. Sorry to hear that. he was a good friend for many years. Kinda lost touch last few. Thanks for info.

 

Now the curious thing will be, What will the roads around here be like saturday morning?
The phones will be a treat if we're all missing this weekend!

 

Roads here are perfect in this 80 degree weather in Florida. ooppssss Didn't mean to sound like rubbing it in while sitting with a/c on.
