No prob kmac if its in my home area having anything to do with trucks ive probably been there.

 

I feel so bad for everyone working in the offices. I had an issue today and I called to see if it was resolved and the lady was so apologetic saying she was the only one working. 1500 people to deal with one person. Ugh.

 

So I got the repower I asked for, worked out pretty good. Traded for a two stop load that delvers a day earlier. I misunderstood the guy on the phone and thought he said Boston MA, I thought, well, not losing any miles and off it a day earlier, I guess that's worth the hassle of downtown Boston... BUT as it turns out, he said Taunton, MA, so now I am waiting for my brother to pick me up... he lives two miles away so I get to visit my nephew and Niece.

Preplan for 268 miles... 115 Dead Head LOL. Getting short haul pay, and have a preplan for 2000 miles, NY to Texas. Time to get out of this weather for a bit.

 

Hope you make it KMac. When I left tonight, they were shutting down more and more highways. If you're in Indiana, make sure you have fuel to run your APU or idle. We're being told I-80 is shut down to trucks until monday noon.
Ohio is looking nasty.
Can only imagine what it will be like when I return in the morning.

 

No worries, was parked at received when I typed the last entry. Will move to close by truck stop when I am empty and go back and watch my Nephews Baseball Practice, ah shades of summer... yes it is in Massachusetts and yes it is indoor, but hey, you grab a bit of sunshine where you find it.

I'm so glad I chose these two weeks to be between jobs; I-80,and -90 were two of the major lanes used by my former employer. Finding a way around it would have been difficult.

 

Made it back to Dallas last night on time....so ready to start OR2 on Monday and keep the ball rolling.

 

Man I tell you what. I-40 & I-25 TA is pretty much a Stevens parking lot lol

 

I always park at the Route 66 Casino when in ABQ... excellent buffet.
