We did get repowered...but it's all cool. Drove 7.5 hours today through Arizona and California Got some mountain experience as well as got to play with the Jake. My floating smoothed out some more. Step by step.

Saw a Stevens trailer today with aluminum rims. Is that pretty common?
-
The newer trailers have the shiny rims. No clue how many new trailers there are though.
-
We ordered 1100. Don't know if they're all delivered yet.

I see on the Stevens website they have regional driving positions. Do you have to put some time in and prove yourself or can you get them after a few months? Thanks!
-
Made level 2 today. Drove some 8 hours...managed to hit both Phoenix and El Paso rush hours.
-
Regional positions are dependent on who asks for them, and when.
Most of the time they'll go to drivers who have been around a bit, but I see some G2 and G3 drivers on some of the regional gigs.
Supply and demand. -
I see someone left some good comments on my screen at Stevens. Made me smile lol
Bobcat Tail Thanks this. -
Drove another 8 today. Getting the hang of floating. Also started learning to skip gears.
-
If you want a regional or dedicated position, slip the person who decides a couple hundred dollar bills, and before you know it you will get a regional or dedicated job. It's how the trucking world works in case you did not know.
