This used to be so busy I'd go away one day and have 7 or 8 pages of comments to read. Now, not so much. Six days...

The meetings and talk in Dallas would curl your hair these days.
The good news is most of revolves around increasing driver satisfaction, retention and needs.
We'll have to wait and see if anything comes of it or if we actually DO anything, but at least it's positive.

 

driver retention is easy. add 25% or more to all pay checks. I think pay is the biggest reason drivers change companies.
Been noticing lately, I have preplans before I finish unloading. Been nice not sitting around wasting my clock for 5-6 hours waiting on a load assignment. Can get off the dock and just roll to my next pickup.

Stuck on yard till Monday. pulled in the gate at 11:30 today (SAT) can't clear my sheet till Monday. Wish safety and compliance would work weekends.
